For those of you who tuned in to listen to our Film Board chat about The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, you know that 2/3 of those that saw it in 3D HFR REALLY struggled with the 48fps HFR. It seems to be split, but I’m hearing from more and more people that had a hard time with this new format. On that, a FB friend posted this great article that gets into more technical details about why it may not work. It’s a fascinating read from a person who saw the movie in 2D, 3D, and 3D HFR.
