School’s out and summer is here. Many films fans spent the summers of their youth in the dark and cooled cineplex in their neighborhood. But when there wasn’t a Spielberg or Lucas film playing, we would spend out time outdoors.
I was pleasantly surprised by these two films and their ability to capture the unique ecosystem of the adolescent summer.
Both films focus on the adolescent/teenage need to find and define oneself and as a result redefine your role/status within the family.
