He co-hosted The Marvel Movie Minute for over three hundred episodes with his fellow true believer and partner in pods, Rob Kubasko. He’s created several shows, the most notable of which are his audio drama series, The Swashbuckling Ladies Debate Society, and his live play show, the Cool Time Dice Hour with the one and only Krissy Lenz. We try to figure out exactly what Tony and Nick have been talking about these last few minutes. Would Howard and Nick really have had this conversation about Tony being the perfect one to solve the arc reactor power problem? It really doesn’t make sense. So that means Nick’s lying… and Tony likely knows but is interested anyway. So that’s pretty interesting… right? And how old are Nick and Howard anyway? And Coulson? He’s not here for that.
The exposition dump just keeps on a-dumpin’, but Nick throws out something a bit more… poetic. There’s more daddy talk. Agent Coulson’s back and SHIELD’s been on guard this whole time. And Howard Stark apparently handed down his… robe?… to Tony.
The arc reactor is a stepping stone to some greater source of power… but never talked about again. We go on a tangent about Val Kilmer and Sly Stallone. We get some backstory for the Vanko family and its relationship with House Stark. And what’s going on with those bad conversational edits? And yeah, Kyle does some bad accents again.
What is Ivan’s plan? Is he completely winging it still? Are there too many villains in this film? Or is it ACTUALLY Tony himself? We talk about a goofy War Machine deleted scene but one we would’ve liked to see in the film. And how about Delta Force? And WOW is there a lot happening in the MCU right now!
