IH109: Whos and Apes.
In minute one hundred nine of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob listen to what it takes to make it big in Hollywood from part three of our exclusive interview with Terry Notary. It’s got Dr. Seuss, Ron Howard and both Tims!
Fast becoming more beard than man, Kyle Olson is an award-winning writer, producer, and host who has been podcasting since these shows were still casting onto pods. He co-hosted The Marvel Movie Minute for over three hundred episodes with his fellow true believer and partner in pods, Rob Kubasko. He’s created several shows, the most notable of which are his audio drama series, The Swashbuckling Ladies Debate Society, his storytelling show, The Story Well, and he’s a co-host on Craft and Chaos. He served as co-host on Sitting in the Dark in it’s scariest early days.
He still has a lot to learn.

In minute one hundred nine of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob listen to what it takes to make it big in Hollywood from part three of our exclusive interview with Terry Notary. It’s got Dr. Seuss, Ron Howard and both Tims!

In minute one hundred eight of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob continue their incredible discussion with artist, actor and “The Incredible Hulk” cast member, Terry Notary, who gives some fascinating insight on what makes for great acting.

In minute one hundred seven of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob dispense with the credits (we’ve been talking about all the wonderful work done on this movie the entire season) and reveal a most amazing thing: part one of their exclusive interview with Mr. Terry Notary!

In minute one hundred six of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle blows Rob’s mind with perhaps the most universe shattering installment of “Meanwhile in the MCU.” We’re not kidding. Oh, and did we mention there’s Tony Stark?

In minute one hundred five of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob discuss the history of the post credit scene. It’s older than you think! We follow that up with a deeper than expected discussion on what future Hulk this film may have envisioned. And what’s that? A scene after the movie ends? Reload!

In minute one hundred four of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob talk about Rob’s enduring optimism for Betty’s return. We take a detour to talk about the QuickTake 100, an insanely affordable Apple digital camera from 1994. It all connects. You’ll see. The movie then pivots to a story about some guy named David who lives in Canada, eats fruit, drinks tea, has a necklace and jogs. Warning: there is a rant about mail and a surprise segment of “Rob Fixes Movies!”

In minute one hundred three of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob find out what the Hulk’s final word is as they reminisce a little more with a call back to the 70’s television show. Our hero makes a beautiful, if not miraculous, escape into the light. Then we’re confounded by Betty forgetting how technology works. Why? Because there’s another deleted scene!

In minute one hundred two of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob get frustrated over crowds and their attraction to danger in this movie. There’s just odd stuff going on as Hulk finishes off the villain. And we’re left with a single question. Does HBO Max pay for the Leterrier or Norton cut? You decide!

In minute one hundred one of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob confess their two big errors. Oh wait, did we say TWO errors? Yeah. Thinking this action sequence took place on a roof isn’t the only proof we’re goofballs. Apologies to Rhythm & Hues Studios and kudos to Matt Shumway and the entire team who worked on this film! In the middle there’s a really good analysis of the end of the Hulk and Abomination fight.

In minute one hundred of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob celebrate this centennial episode with a journey down memory lane of 80’s television. All leading up to the delivery of the Hulk’s most iconic words. And yes, we know. It’s NOT THE ROOF of the building. We know that now. We recognize our own foolishness in due time. In due time.
