He co-hosted The Marvel Movie Minute for over three hundred episodes with his fellow true believer and partner in pods, Rob Kubasko. He’s created several shows, the most notable of which are his audio drama series, The Swashbuckling Ladies Debate Society, and his live play show, the Cool Time Dice Hour with the one and only Krissy Lenz. In minute sixty-one of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob enjoy the funny human moments between Betty and Hulk as their time in the cave continues. Hulk gets into an argument with thunder during what turns out to be a pretty nice Grey Hulk tribute. And we talk about that rumor where Mjolnir shows up. Spoiler: it doesn’t.
In minute sixty of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob begin with King Kong. That’s because the beauty ends up in a cave with our beast. General Ross shows a flash of some rare humor as we conclude Ty Burrell’s presence in the movie. Props are also given to some lesser known aspects of the comic book Hulk strewn throughout this minute. But that doesn’t save the Hulk from embarrassing himself in front of Betty. Adorable! And note, scrupulosity IS a word. Just not the way we intended.
In minute fifty-nine of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob know that regrets are a real thing for everyone from Frank Sinatra to Cutting Crew. One of those regrets is not being able to name actors playing soldiers in this movie. Leonard’s is being a huge rat. But he redeems himself by sticking it to the General. And Cobra Commander makes an audible cameo. Yesssss!
In minute fifty-eight of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob begin with a dissertation on renaissance art. Kyle also shows off his German. Yes. You read that correctly. Don’t worry, it plays a role in this minute. That minute also involves a Boeing AH-64A Apache and you get all the details. We also explore Hulk as a skilled athlete who thinks every action out. And Leonard shows back up!
In minute fifty-seven of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob reminisce about a childhood toy and its relation to Emil Blonsky who puts himself in a stretchy situation. A western stand off between our two opposing main characters ends in a rubbery impact. But no punches! This Hulk is a kicker. And to be clear, we have NO problems with Liam Neeson in any way. But wait! This is a bonus episode because we’re at the halfway point in the movie so you get a halftime breakdown, too!
In minute fifty-six of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob consider the General’s hubris and how it gets cut short as the Hulk finds a way to escape Ross’ sonic barrage. This makes way for a discussion on the physical properties of said escape which thankfully, leads us to a classic GI Joe cartoon and good old Jim Ross references. And there’s an Enya cameo.
In minute fifty-five of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob discuss sonic repercussions in movies. They also applaud the cool work of stuntman Cyril Raffaelli as we enjoy some fantastic action fighting where Blonsky holds his own! There’s a deep dive into how they make Tim Roth run really, really fast. Hint: a certain man of steel might have used this a few decades ago. And sonic cannons from the opening credits finally show up. Plus, we thank Ed Norton for not using glue!

The obsession over bullets continues as Ross’ army tries to take down the Hulk. We dish about our love of the absurdity of 80’s television car jumps and the Hulk’s propensity for stomping things.
In minute fifty-two of The Incredible Hulk, Kyle and Rob discuss an inexplicable movie from the 1940’s whose title plays into this minute. We dive deeper into Betty’s daddy issues and Bruce’s oddly expressed Hulk vision. There’s a discussion on the best way to simulate gas in an enclosed space as the big green guy shows up for this movie’s iconic reveal. And for some reason, a simile contest breaks out.
