Somemandy Somewhere
The Mandys watch Somebody Somewhere on HBO and revel in the small town de-pantsed charm of it all.
Mandy Fabian’s journey began in a small Texas town and soared through a stint in Austin’s sketch comedy scene, a film major at Vassar College, and a vibrant acting period in NYC, before settling in LA where she embraced her talents as a singer-songwriter and eventually found her calling as a writer-director, dedicated to crafting female-centric narratives. Her directorial accolades include Lifetime’s “The Young Hillary Diaries,” the Emmy-winning “Dropping the Soap” for Amazon, and recognition from the Sony Pictures Television Diverse Directing Program and NewFilmmakers LA. Mandy’s recent works include the award-winning pilot “Vicarious” and her debut feature film “Jess Plus None,” a feminist rom-com, which received support from Warner Bros. and the WIF ReFrame Stamp for gender-balanced hiring. Based in LA, Mandy lives with her husband, actor Patrick Fabian, their two daughters, and a commendable array of eco-friendly water bottles. She is co-host of The Mandcave with Mandy Kaplan on TruStory FM.
