Minute One Hundred Six: From The Quinjet Taking Aim to Ominous Rumblings From the Space Hole

Ryanne Bennett from Black Girl Nerds joins us in this episode!

In the one-hundred-sixth minute of The Avengers

Nat and Clint use the quinjet to take on Loki, but why just bullets? Don’t they have missiles or something? And if they did shoot a missile at Stark Tower and knocked it over, would the Tesseract still be emitting the blue beam, just pointing in a different direction from wherever it fell? Or would it stop? Regardless, we learn that Clint doesn’t know how to maneuver the quinjet like Nat did in Stuttgart because he gets hit by Loki’s blue pew-pew scepter blast, and down they go. We talk a bit about the buildings in the area to get a lay of the land, even going so far as to try to figure out which company the two dressed-for-business extras work for.

We do wonder a bit why Steve stayed in the back the entire time instead of parkouring out. Regardless, Clint does manage to put the quinjet down in the perfect spot, and that gives them a great vantage point on Park Ave to see the attack. We end the minute with strange rumblings from the space hole. What could be coming through in tomorrow’s minute? Tune in!
