When is a car not a car? When the MMM computer says it’s so. This is Rob’s least favorite minute and we dive into why as we take on what it means to have … a human body. Ivan whips, Tony scampers, and Happy drives angry. Plus, we see what happens with the in-car Stoogeiverse collides with on-track shenanigans. Those shenanigans, by the way, lead us down an exploration of The Constrictor, who may have been present in spirit in this scene.

We hate sand but asphalt gives us reason to celebrate. OK, the team has a little trouble making Whiplash look cool in front of fire, but at least an incredibly tropey fight is our reward. We revisit the in-car Stoogeiverse while examining the scientific implications of meeting a concussive asphalt wave.

This is the Mandela Effect minute. The minute picks up with the Hammer car in the slowest of motion mid-aid crashes. Happy finds the unusual briefcase and picks up Pepper for a big rescue. We meet the film’s in-car Two Stooges comic universe. Ok… so there might be a few narrative issues that rear their collective head in this minute. We find a way to appreciate it anyhow.

It’s 2021. People are going to be watching you walk on the pro-am circuit. Just like we watch Ivan in what we can only classify as competitive saunter. It’s the People vs. Kyle Olson as we take on the race in Monaco as a dramatic action set piece. Pete Wright is back to join Rob’s defense of cavalier helmet flips and grandstanding.

Toothpicks! Gearhead Pete Wright is with us to talk about sport motoring and motor branding. There’s a hole lot of industrialist narcissism on display between Tony and Justin, and some of it even occurs through LCD screens. We pull apart Monaco mattes and CG face mask replacements, and then our old pal Ivan shows up and he’s hella swole.

What does it take to be an F1 driver? We find out when Tony takes the wheel. Thankfully, he’s got a jumpsuit in tow. Meanwhile, Hammer is trying to resuscitate his interview while Pepper briefly explores the perks of being a wallflower. Is Natasha a liar? Plus, “What If…“ Rob and Kyle invented a new War Machine/Hammer show for Disney+?

We open with a brief treatise on photography, cultured dairy products, and presidential history. Hammer and Stark get a few pics and play a rousing match of dodge-the-PR-disaster before settling in for the party proper. Blood toxicity, as it turns out, is a mood indicator. Plus, meanwhile in the MCU!

Merlins In History! Car? Actor? Historical figure? SPACE SHIP? We move past the Musk cameo and pick up with some Pepperony bickering. It is with great relief, therefore, that we welcome back our man Hammer and his glorious inability to read social cues. Also, Quibi is only dead when the last of us stops talking about it. This episode might be that conversation.

Ahhh, the Hotel de Paris in Monaco. So famous. So, so very out of reach. And so we pick up our team as the prepare for the Historic Grand Prix. Tony trumps Pepper with Natalie, who gets things *done*. Musk cameo inbound! Which gives us a terrific opportunity to walk down Silicon Valley Memory Lane.
