Minute Sixty-Four: From Zola Running to the Experiment Rom to Steve Entering the Experiment Room
Joining us, we have Matthew Fox, the voice behind The Ethical Panda and our host from last season!
In the sixty-fourth minute of Joe Johnston’s 2011 film Captain America: The First Avenger…
We talk more about Schmidt and Zola. Schmidt has to spend an inordinate amount of time flipping switches for his self-destruct system. Zola, meanwhile, runs away. Very different how these two act. Steve continues his hunt through the factory, stopping to look down the length of the place. But why that hold on the balcony? Are we meant to see something there?
We talk a bit about Zola’s experiment room and the schematics we see. We won’t quite figure out what we’re looking at right away, but we do get there! We also talk about the map and the locations for Hydra bases. And there’s a fantastic nod to film noir in the hallway stare-off between Dr. Zola and Steve outside his experiment room. But why doesn’t Steve try to catch Zola?
The time’s ticking down. Tune in!
