CATFA 069: Leap of Faith

In this minute of Joe Johnston’s 2011 film ‘Captain America: The First Avenger,’ Bucky works his way across the gantry, making it across before it collapses. Minute Sixty-Nine: From Bucky Balancing to Phillips Dictating

Joining us on the show, we have Andrew and Joe Darowski returning from last season!

In the sixty-ninth minute of Joe Johnston’s 2011 film Captain America: The First Avenger

Steve and Bucky work their way across this gantry. Why this way out? And who cleaned Bucky up? How about that continuity error with the bent railing? And why end the scene this way in a dissolve out on Steve leaping through a fireball? It’s peculiar and we certainly have our questions…

We also get to talk about Tommy Lee Jones as Colonel Phillips and his voice. It’s great for reading condolence letters. And how about that middle name of Steve’s?

The action sequence comes to an end. Tune in!
