CATFA 103: Scooby Doo Entrance

Minute 103: From Tesseract Blasts to Mano a Mano

Joining us today, we have Ryanne Bennett, Podcast Host and Content Creator, Audio Engineer, Digital Journalist from the Black Girl Nerds Podcast.

In the one hundred third minute of Joe Johnston’s 2011 film Captain America: The First Avenger

Steve crashes the drop plane into the back of the Valkyrie, and we notice that the struts look remarkably like Skull’s face. Did he design it that way intentionally? It’s pretty funny either way.

Steve grabs his shield then makes his way into the cockpit. Why does he tiptoe in if he doesn’t see Skull in the pilot chair? How does he not sense where Skull is with his super senses? Is it perhaps because Skull is using his own super powers to control what Steve might sense?

It’s all a bit ridiculous but we have a blast discussing it. Tune in!
