Minute Sixty Seven: From Lying and Killing to Figuring It Out
Robin Burdge from Karate Kid Minute and Fright Night Minute joins us in this episode!
In the sixty-seventh minute of The Avengers…
Loki continues his monologue to Natasha, and unfortunately says one of the most disgusting things ever said in a Marvel film. It really feels like the writer/director’s hand at work here, and it’s just gross. That aside, Loki’s full-on malicious to Natasha as he works to break her down, destroying her hope that Clint will be saved. But it’s all okay because it’s just another of her fake-outs! Right? Well, it does play effectively, as gross as the insult is. It’s just a shame that Natasha isn’t given other ways to trick villains. There’s also talk about what we’re seeing in the montage and how all of our heroes are uncovering unsavory truths about SHIELD and showing that no one is to be trusted. Tune in!
