Minute Eighty Nine: From Fury Finding Coulson Dying to Natasha Hearing the News About Coulson
Kurtis Findlay from the Epic Marvel Podcast joins us in this episode!
In the eighty-ninth minute of The Avengers…
Loki gives a last smile as the quinjet flies off. Is he upset at all that at least Clint didn’t make it back? But the real bulk of this minute isn’t about Loki. It’s about the damage he’s done. We get to spend Agent Phil Coulson’s last moments with him here as Nick finds him and tries to keep him alive. We talk about the importance of Coulson to the film and the franchise, as well as how he and this Fury ended up in 616. We also discuss how bringing people back – sometimes more than once – can diminish heavy moments like this.
Hill and Natasha react as well, even if Natasha’s likely also upset about Clint and wondering if he’ll be the same when he wakes up. Tune in!
