Kyle Olson leads Rob Kubasko and Ray Delancey in the first episode of our new SatMat Season!
Mandy Kaplan leads a ragtag group of survivors, Ocean Murff and Ray DeLancey, in an exploration of Netflix’s Russia problem, a Spider-delay, Nike, sequels and some seriously unreliable trailers.
Andy Nelson wishes you all a fine top of YOUR mornings in the big chair with Tommy Metz III and an about-time-finally return to our very own Ray DeLancey this week.
Comcast considering making streaming Universal films only available on Peacock. Netflix nabs streaming rights to Sony films. Plus a submarine movie vacation bracket and a list of movies that also happen to be complete sentences, with a dash of weird love
We discuss a simpler way to understand what exactly is happening to Tony Stark and how it relates to your car. We find out Gwyneth’s cold helped write the lines for a scene as Pepper. There’s also some great little details that foreshadow a new suit that is made for traveling. Sadly, Tony says goodbye to his art collection and we bid farewell to The Next Reel’s Ray DeLancey who’s joined us for the week! Boyd Counter: 5
The Next Reel’s Ray DeLancey actually loves hanging around with us, much to our surprise. He’s back and so should you because our story moves back to California and Tony’s palatial mansion that only exists as pixels. But what’s not imaginary is Tony’s spectacular car collection which we examine along with what’s on his desktop monitors. We also welcome Paul Bettany’s voice of JARVIS in this minute. And you too can buy the same water vessel that Tony Stark uses.
Senator Stern lets the words fly in the semi-hallowed halls of the United State Senate as Tony commands the end of his trial. Now things get tricky. There’s a deleted scene we’re all glad is not in the movie and that not just because Pepper’s hair goes full Medusa. But pay little attention to that because we’ve got a “boyd” sighting! Vanko’s back and with whips! And so is The Next Reel’s Ray DeLancey but with no whips.
Tony makes his case for no immediate threats from the purported competitors to the Iron Man suit. And this is not a subtle argument as he gets even with Justin Hammer who doesn’t quite know how to deal with the meeting chaos Tony causes. The Next Reel’s Ray DeLancey is along for the ride!
The Next Reel’s Ray DeLancey joins us to provide his own brand of insight and love for Iron Man 2. Tony’s Senate Hearing takes an interesting turn during Rhodey’s testimony where current and future technology is used in an amusing plot moment. And get ready for story time because there’s lots of great details hidden in Tony’s bleeding edge smartphone. Illumi-what???
What’s this? … Scott Bakula coming back as Cap Archer? Are we thrilled for Paramount+ yet? Emma Watson is retiring? Didn’t that happen already? Plus, a trio of trailers and a list of harrowing border crossing movies!
