Once Upon a Doodle Crash
This week on the show, we finally have our playlist act together, we share Tommy’s childhood nickname in public, swallowing, and slipping into the firey center of the earth. So… big show!
Tommy Metz III aka Tommy Handsome aka The King of Diminishing Returns has written and directed 8 short films that have shown across the country. Along the way, he was lucky enough to win some awards including Best Overall Short, Best Comedic Short, Audience Favorite Film and Most Handsome Son (that last one was given to him by his mother). His latest horror short “Static” just finished its successful festival run in 2023. Tommy also co-written and directed his first full-length feature film titled 30 NIGHTS, available for streaming on Tubi. Tommy has also spent over two decades as a Head Mentor for the Young Storytellers creative writing and literacy program for children. Tommy lives in Sherman Oaks, California with his better half, Foster.
Foster aka Puppy King Foster aka He Who Rules Over Everywhere The Sun May Touch was found running around on July 4th, 2015 and has remained a free spirit ever since. After allowing himself to be adopted, he now enjoys parks, leaves, squirrels and howling at fire engines. Due to his intense hatred for skateboards, it is presumed he was working undercover infiltrating a skateboard-related crime syndicate and lost a lot of good boys during the operation. Foster lives in Sherman Oaks, California with his worse half, Tommy.

Tommy Metz leads the crew of Steve Sarmento and Rob Kubasko this week in his very first Saturday Matinée hosting gig with Trailers, Games, and a terrible, terrible Watchlist!
Pete gives the crypto-creep update, Tom plays the pilot in Catch Him If You Can, and we take on a listener submission that might just have us bouncing around the waves for days.
Nose spray for social anxiety? Get ready for it. Also, we’re taking on the anxieties we leave for our descendants and the number 13.
Pete asks how YOU funny, Tom fears his lost handiness, and a dear listener has a lesson for us on trauma and restaurant service.
At First Citiwide Bank of Anxiety, we live… where you live
Most of this episode is about restaurants that have damaged us in some way. Some of the episode is about Broadway, high school, and cave panic.
Tommy revels in our upcycled food future … especially the bugs! Plus, masks make you invisible (no, they don’t), injection panic, and big doors.
No one asked for it… except the sauces. This week on the show, Pete and Tom deign to dip.
AI lookin’ out for us. Pete helps a listener feel free in the chair while Tommy is on the hunt for Dr. Puff-n-stuff.
