Our lieutenant’s busy looking at the chair in the cockpit, but the SHIELD tech discovers Captain America’s shield. But how do they know what it is? Is the history of WWII SHIELD operations part of SHIELD school? Why does SHIELD Lieutenant Gorman assume Captain America’s alive?
We don’t get to find out because we cut back in time to 1942 in Tønsberg, Norway – a location we discussed early last season when King Laufey and his Frost Giants invaded Midgard and froze all the villagers, ships, and houses in Tønsberg before Odin stopped him. But now, we focus on a tower. This tower is Castle Rock Tower, a real place in the real Tønsberg but designed more as a cathedral in this MCU version of Tønsberg. Here, we find Jan and the Tower Keeper Filch talking about something they’ve been hiding. It’s all very mysterious. Plus, a lot of rumbling’s going on.
And a deleted scene! Our first one includes a reveal of Hydra’s Uber tank.
