CATFA 097: We Really Poked a Hole in This One

Minute 97: From Invasion to Peggy Taking Aim

In the ninety-seventh minute of Joe Johnston’s 2011 film Captain America: The First Avenger

We have a ton of problems that center on this Hydra base. Why is it lush and green at the base but winter at the top? Why is it constructed like everyone’s on the same level? Why does Red Skull run for the front door knowing they’re under attack? Why is there a strange heroic build to all the vehicles blowing up? Why is Peggy underdressed? Why does Hydra bother with flame troopers?

Clearly, we have issues, but they’re fun to talk about! Tune in!
