Minute Nineteen: From What Bruce Tries to Avoid to a Gun in Our Face
Joining us today is Robin Burdge from Karate Kid Minute, Fright Night Minute, and Superman & Lois TV Talk.
In the nineteenth minute of The Avengers…
Natasha pitches Bruce on helping Fury with this global catastrophe. What we love so much about Ruffalo’s hulk is he really feels dangerous. When he talks about trying to avoid that type of thing, we feel he’s probably smart to do so. We have a great time talking about both Ruffalo and Johansson. But whose place is this? Is it a SHIELD safe house? Or did they rent it from some locals? We’re a bit unsure, but it sure seems like someone lives here.
There’s Tesseract and gamma radiation conversation to be had, but the big discussion revolves around the jump scare with Bruce suddenly snapping at Natasha. It’s a great moment that is handled well by the actors, and it’s shot in a visceral way that works exceptionally well. It allows for a wide-ranging conversation covering his anger, Hulk’s tone throughout the MCU, why Natasha is here instead of, say, Coulson, and more.
It’s a great conversation and we get to really dig into angry Bruce. Tune in!
