How do I talk to others about my ADHD?

Thank you for supporting The ADHD Podcast on Patreon! — https://patreon.com/theadhdpodcast

Talking with others about our ADHD can be a tricky subject. If you’re not completely comfortable with your ADHD and how it affects your work and life, talking about it can be surrounded in self-judgment, even if that judgment isn’t reflected in reality. This week on the show, we have two guests and fellow podcasters to help us navigate this conversation and give you some great advice and a sound reality check on talking to others about your ADHD!

Gabriel Villarreal and Heather Clifft are the hosts of Informed Consent, a podcast designed to support and nurture incoming mental health clinicians who are in the trenches. Heather is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in anxiety, trauma, family transitions, and counselor supervision. Gabriel is a Resident in Counseling and soon to be Licensed Practicing Counselor, providing therapy at his practice ADHD Counseling, he’s also a coach at his gym, LostBoys Strength and Conditioning. Both join us from Roanoke, Virginia.
