“How do you rank the entire franchise?”

“How do you rank the entire franchise?”

We’re done talking about the movies. Now let’s talk about the series.

We have come to the end of our Original Star Wars Trilogy series, exploring three films from directors George Lucas, Irvin Kershner, and Richard Marquand. All told, we covered Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. So what did we – Pete Wright and Andy Nelson – think about not just the films but the series as a whole? How do we balance our childhood love for these films with our more analytical, critical adult minds? What do we think about the rest of the films and TV series? What do we think of a potential remake down the road? And how do we rank them all?

It was a fun series and a great way to kick off our 12th season. Next up – the Paddington films! The Next Reel – when the movie ends, our conversation begins!
