We have come to the end of our series on The Raid films, exploring two films from director Gareth Evans, as well as a member bonus episode. All told, we covered The Raid and The Raid 2. So what did we – Pete Wright and Andy Nelson – think about not just the films but the series as a whole?
Here’s a hint at what we talk about.
There’s more to discuss about violence and action. Clearly, our exploration of other styles of martial arts films needs to increase to know if this is really just more of the same or something special. Regardless, we think it’s incredibly exciting and love these films.

We finally rank all of the films on Flickchart, along with Gremlins 2: The New Batch, which was our October member bonus episode.
