Matthew’s back! For this crossover episode with their podcast Superhero Ethics, we’re looking at the new release ‘Thor: Love & Thunder.’ How does it work for us?
With over 25 years of experience in film, television, and commercial production, Andy has cultivated an enduring passion for storytelling in all its forms. His enthusiasm for the craft began in his youth when he and his friends started making their own movies in grade school. After studying film at the University of Colorado Boulder, Andy wrote, directed, and produced several short films while also producing indie features like Netherbeast Incorporated and Ambush at Dark Canyon.
Andy has been on the production team for award-winning documentaries such as The Imposter and The Joe Show, as well as TV shows like Investigation Discovery’s Deadly Dentists and Nat Geo’s Inside the Hunt for the Boston Bombers. Over a decade ago, he started podcasting with Pete and immediately embraced the medium. Now, as a partner at TruStory FM, Andy looks forward to more storytelling through their wide variety of shows.
Throughout his career, Andy has passed on his knowledge by teaching young minds the crafts of screenwriting, producing, editing, and podcasting.
Outside of work, Andy is a family man who enjoys a good martini, a cold beer, a nice cup o’ joe. And always, of course, a great movie.

This series is over. We’ve covered Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Clueless, The Last Supper, and Billy Madison. So what did we think of the films, the directors, the comedy, the stars, and what they brought to the table? Plus, Flickchart!
We end our 90s Comedies series and our 11th season with Tamra Davis’ comedy ‘Billy Madison.’ It was Adam Sandler’s first opportunity to carry a film, and he’s clearly found his audience. What did we think of it?
Pete and Andy return for another member bonus episode. We jump back to 2010 to discuss what Joe Johnston was doing before he signed on with the MCU – it’s his 2010 film ‘The Wolfman.’
Our 90s Comedies series continues with a dip into black satire. In today’s episode, we’re talking about Stacy Title’s 1995 film ‘The Last Supper.’ Is it more relevant than ever with its take on divisiveness? Or does it not work at all? Tune in to find out!
The members have spoken! Our members voted that for our June member bonus episode, we return to our series on films from 1981, and of the options, they voted on Lawrence Kasdan’s debut ‘Body Heat.’ It’s sexy, it’s sweaty, it’s noir-y. We love it. Tune in!
We started this season with Amy Heckerling and we return to her in today’s episode with her 1995 loose adaptation of Jane Austen’s “Emma.” Join us as we talk about her film ‘Clueless,’ the second in our 90s Comedies series.
We kick off our 90s Comedies series with Fran Rubel Kuzui’s 1992 comedy horror ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer.’ Is it the film we remembered it to be? How does it hold up to the series and everything else in the Buffyverse?
It’s time for our member bonus episode for June 2022’s Flickchart Re-Ranking. We RoShamBo. We reminisce on old series. And we shake the Flickchart tree.
This series is over. We’ve covered ‘Open Hearts’ and ‘After the Wedding,’ both directed by Susanne Bier and starring Mads Mikkelsen. So what did we think of this pairing, and of this pair? We’re fans of both of their work for sure.
